This painting turned out to be prophetic. I painted it in August 2019, and it is about how what is happening in russia completely and utterly violates the current constitution.
The president is obliged to be the guarantor of the constitution; he must make sure that every letter of the constitution is observed, because the constitution is the main law of the state, by which the population of the country lives.
But since putin is the number one violator of the basic law of the state, on 15 January 2020, in his presidential address, putin announced that he was going to rewrite the constitution because he didn't like it.
On 25 June 2020, at the height of the coronavirus, a nationwide vote on rewriting the constitution began in russia.
By and large, in russia it doesn't matter who voted and how; any vote is a farce and a show, the people of russia will always vote the way the leader orders, and so the constitution was rewritten the Vladimir putin way.
