On 6 March 2021, in the town of Belebey, a mass bloody brawl broke out in a shop during a toy sale.
"In Bashkiria, because of a sale, people caused a crush and a mass brawl. One of the shops in Belebey was holding a sale of small soft toys for 39 roubles. The townspeople considered this offer a bargain on the eve of 8 March and decided to stock up. The crowd started a fight in the shop — every buyer wanted to 'grab' a toy at a bargain price. Among the buyers there were also children. Words are superfluous," the report says.
