Putin declared it the duty of the authorities to protect Russians' avatars in metaverses.
The protection of Russians and their virtual doubles in cyberspace should be handled by the state, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the international conference on artificial intelligence and data analysis Artificial Intelligence Journey 2021, an RBC correspondent reports.
«The state must take responsibility for storing critically important information. It is no longer just about ensuring the cybersecurity of the person himself, but also of his virtual double — the avatar inside the emerging metaverses», — Putin remarked.
