Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner PMC, bought back from Ukraine the company's employees who had surrendered, and executed them with a blow to the head, filming the procedure on camera.
The demonstrative execution was carried out as a warning to Russians so they wouldn't dare surrender, because surrender won't save their lives anyway; Ukraine will sell the traitors to the motherland back, where those who surrendered will be executed.
