"Moleshine" is an ancient Russian alcoholic drink, very strong. It is a spirit tincture made on a mole or a shrew. The ancient Russians believed in the healing properties of the mole, so they caught the little underground animal and infused spirit with it. After the revolution of 1917, the traditional drink was forgotten, but in 2022, due to restrictions on the supply of imported alcohol, the Russians revived the traditions of their ancestors and fell in love with moleshine again.
