Russians must give birth to 3–4 children each, so that by 2030 the fertility rate in Russia becomes 1.6 instead of the current 1.37
This task was set by the Minister of Labour and Social Protection Kotyakov. According to him, to achieve this the country needs to «fundamentally break» all existing trends towards childlessness.
