The 18-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, has for the second time received the title of "Hero" of the republic. The official wording says the reason was "outstanding services to the state". The younger Kadyrov first became a "hero" in October 2023 after beating Nikita Zhuravel, who had been arrested in the Koran-burning case, in a pre-trial detention centre. Later he took several government posts. No concrete results of his activity have been reported.
