It has become the custom of the Russian people to accept death as deliverance from suffering.
Done enduring, done suffering, done being tormented... This is exactly how Russian people speak of the deceased.
For a Russian person death is often a way out, a way to hide from debts, avoid humiliation, end the torment. That is why Russians always gladly go to any war the tsar can offer and croak there by the hundreds of thousands, filling mass graves to the brim with their carcasses.
