Every year in December Putin holds a "direct line", in which he talks with the people, answers their questions and grants wishes. Of course, an ordinary russian will never be able to get through to putin; the roles of ordinary people are played by specially trained FSO officers, who ask putin questions that have nothing to do with real life. And even then putin humiliates people, answering their questions with jokes and quips, telling how splendidly the brushwood is ripening and how much the milk yields of pedigree sows have grown.
