The most beloved holiday of the Russian people is 9 May. The day of victory over fascist Germany in 1945. Every year Russian people celebrate this holiday lavishly. Two months before the celebration, russians begin building wooden Reichstags out of cardboard and brushwood in their settlements, so that on 9 May, after drinking 300 grams of industrial alcohol each, they can storm this cardboard stronghold of Hitler's Nazism.
The most grandiose storming of a plywood Reichstag took place on 23 April 2017 in the "Patriot" park near Moscow.
"The red flag over the Reichstag again
A large-scale reenactment of the battles of the last days of the war took place in the "Patriot" park near Moscow.
On Sunday the "Patriot" park resembled the front line of 1945. Fighters with PPSh submachine guns wandered the alleys, artillerymen, swearing, rolled guns through the spring slush, and tankmen, Soviet ones together with "fascists", were warming up their armoured vehicles with a roar, preparing for street fighting.
One and a half thousand activists from patriotic clubs across Russia came to the reenactment of the battle for Berlin.
- If we wanted, we could gather twice as many people, but there wouldn't be enough room for them on the field, — Timur Cherpnin, head of the "Garrison-A" club, told KP.
- Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu is present at the reenactment! — the announcer declared, and the stands erupted in applause.
The scenario of the show included all the stages of the Berlin battle — the storming of the Seelow Heights with attacks and counterattacks, and street fighting, and the storming of the Reichstag, a model of which was built for the occasion. And then an air battle of La-7 and Messerschmitt piston fighters broke out over the field. "Tigers" rolled out against our "thirty-fours", the infantry clashed hand to hand. Burning stuntmen, smoking vehicles, exploding shells and mines... There was even a "Hitler" calling to hold out to the last. When our fighters hoisted the flag on the roof of the Reichstag, the stands erupted in a unanimous "hurrah!"."
