In the Russian Federation a criminal case has been opened against the commander of a GRU special forces military unit and his deputy, who raped conscript soldiers in a perverted manner.
Journalists managed to obtain documents for official use of the Russian Ministry of Defence, which set out the facts of violent crimes committed by the commander of a GRU company in the Khabarovsk Territory — Major Panov — and his deputy, Captain Erushevich.
Thus, in November 2020 the major demanded money from a private «for the needs of the company», and after a refusal ordered the soldier to strip naked, after which he was beaten, tied to a tree with his hands bound, and threatened with having his genitals stapled to the trunk.
Before that, in August 2020, a lance corporal and a private were brought to Panov for an «educational talk», during which the major put a medical glove on a mop handle and began «moving it around the lance corporal's buttocks and crotch, threatening to rape him».
Another case recorded in the materials of the Russian Ministry of Defence took place in January 2021, when the company medic, on the orders of Panov and Erushevich, gave a serviceman an enema, after which he was raped with a mop handle. The captain filmed it on his phone.
